U.S. sets record for number of deportations in 2011
"The Department of Homeland Security deported 400,000 undocumented immigrants in the fiscal year which ended last month, making this the tenth year in a row in which the U.S. carried out a record number of deportations. However, despite this continued trend, the number of individuals deported from Arizona actually dropped this year from 92,600 in 2010 to 52,000 in 2011.
